The weather outside is frightful

But my craft room is delightful. With the snow and ice outside it gave me a chance to catch up on my crafting inside this weeks sketch was brought to us by Heidi, feel free to play along too.
This is my interpretation of this weeks sketch, I used a basic black base, soft sky card stock and soft sky DSP from the subtles DSP paper stack,  doilies, 1 3/8 & 1 3/4 circle punch.

Sketch Frenzy Friday

Hello crafters,

I have just joined a talented group of crafters and each week we get to make a card based on a sketch. This is there first first sketch of the year and this is my inaugural post. This weeks sketch was brought to us by Tammy Baldwin.

Here is my interpretation of this week's sketch, what do you think I used Stampin' Up! gumball green card stock for my base, cut out the window with the deco labels framelit, typeset alphabet bigz die to cut out the numbers, birthday basics deigned series paper and best of birthdays stamp set.

Check out the rest of the teams creations at www.sketchfrenzyfriday.com hope you enjoy.

Wedding card

Hi friends,

I made this card for my cousin's wedding the colors were black and dark pink. I started with a standard card base in raspberry ripple layered with a basic black mat then I added a raspberry ripple die cut made with the top note die. I like to use velum in my more formal designs so I added a volume layer embossed with a vintage SU folder. My flowers were made from the scallop and boho blossom punches, then sponged in black. The leaves were made from the build a bird punch. All were spritzed with glimmer mist. I also added the satin ribbon.
Hope you like it!

Here is her bridal shower card. I free cut the body and the skirt then embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder. I used the smallest flower from the boho blossom die and accented it with pearls
